8 Bible Verse To Empower You For Missional Living

These 8 verses have been particularly meaningful to me as I have been on this journey into a more missional life! They have been the fuel of empowerment that the Holy Spirit has given me to more boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those I am around.  I pray, as you read them, you too find them to be of help as you travel this journey!  

#1: Luke 24:46-47

"He told them, 'This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem."

#2: Matthew 28:18-20

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

#3: Luke 24:46-47

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, 'Here I am send me."

#8: Mark 16:15

"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
